Just kidding. But, a 1.6 diesel short block (that actually spins!), transmission, head, and a few other goodies fit perfectly in the trunk with the privacy cover down and the seats up. Now I just need a day with good weather to do the transplant.

The one in my diesel Rabbit  is seized. I’m going to pull the motor and transmission (old trans was missing an inspection plug- when that’s gone, the clutch is usually toast and the fluid is contaminated, so I’ll just swap it as well) and put this one in. I’ll eventually tear the bad motor down and build a turbo motor probably.
